Kia ora!
When will I get the conference links?
If you have registered, the conference links will be emailed to you one week before the conference.
Who is the conference for? i.e. Who can register?
474 schools are benefitting from a new in-school LSC entitlement in 2026. These new LSCs join more than 600 already working across schools.
This national conference brings together LSCs from across New Zealand. We want to equip this entire workforce with the support and skills they need to perform effectively in the role, ensuring nationally consistent practice.
LSCs working in Kaupapa Māori and Māori-medium settings (Ngā Kura ā Iwi, Te Rūnanga Nui‑affiliated schools and Kura Motuhake) are welcome to register.
Schools receiving their in-school LSC in 2027 and 2028 are welcome to register.
If the conference is oversubscribed, priority will be given to currently employed LSCs.
What’s the cost?
There is no fee to register or attend the conference. You’ll need a stable internet connection and time to attend the online sessions.
Will the whole conference be available online afterwards?
Keynote sessions and workshops will be recorded and made available online afterwards. However, there will be sessions to help connect
LSCs across the motu so there’s benefit in attending on the day. These won’t be recorded.
Why is this conference online?
The LSC Conference is being hosted online to ensure we’re able to reach the greatest number of LSCs while limiting the reliance on
travel. An online format also:
